After a carreer in Marketing for tourism for leading travel brands in Europe and 27years in Ireland, Valerie and her franco-irish family settled in the beautiful Puisaye in the village of Saint Amand en Puisaye near Guédelon. They founded the Equestrian farm of the Gateau Stables with their horses and ponies. Valérie is now an equestrian coach she welcomes students from all over the world in small exclusive groups coming to experience french cutlture, french shows, learn french, compete at shows or just for a chiled time riding horses in the beautiful forest and country side. Jack, Valérie's son is a member of the french national showjumping team. He brought back a team gold medal at Junior Europeans 2024 in Kronenberg.
